Southend United Legend, Frankie Banks, recently visited the centre to work with pupils from a local Primary School. Frank has been associated with the club for over 40 years as a player, assistant manager and more recently as Senior Community Officer.

For his visit Frank brought along a selection of memorabilia from his long career and was interviewed by pupils. The youngsters thoroughly enjoyed finding out about his life as a footballer and were impressed to hear his recollections about playing against Manchester United and George Best. Following the visit pupils compiled an article about Frank’s life and career.
